Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our team at Motion Recruitment. As a key member of our AI & Digital Innovations team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-performance data solutions using Azure cloud ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data integration and real-time analytics solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Fabric.
  • Develop and implement Python code with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Create robust and reusable code using Python to generate creative content and contribute to project goals.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and stakeholders to understand project objectives and translate them into innovative data-driven solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within the generative AI system development, ensuring optimal model performance.
  • Conduct tests and experiments to enhance system performance and document results for further improvements.
  • Ensure developed systems comply with industry standards and best practices, and meet project requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in data science projects, preferably GenAI projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Fabric for data integration and real-time analytics.
  • Expert-level skills in using standard ML libraries such as Numpy and Pandas, and advanced-level skills in using ML frameworks PyTorch/TensorFlow on Azure cloud ecosystem.
  • Background in unit, integration, and system testing.
  • Azure certification would be a plus.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Involved in specific engagements involving the building of new, bespoke advanced AI solutions for clients and internally.
  • Leveraging your knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization to develop and translate computer algorithms into prototype code.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining, organizing, and identifying trends in large data sets.
  • Proficiency in SQL database design and creating process documentation.
  • Familiarity with computer coding languages Python, Azure Synapse to oversee real-time business metric aggregation, data warehousing, and querying, schema, and data management.
