Job Title: Architectural Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Architectural Representative to provide support to local architects and designers in support of our company's goals and objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, providing product support, and developing strong working relationships with architects and other contacts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local architects to provide assistance with project development and needs.
  • Develop a direct line of communication between architects and our company by determining pending and current projects, tracking activity, and reviewing progress bi-monthly.
  • Maintain a sales book of business with architects to ensure EHI profitability, providing necessary sales and service support.
  • Develop and institute a method for estimating specifically for architects, preparing estimates, written quotations, and processing related data entry.
  • Familiarize architects and other contacts with Ed Herrington Inc and the benefits each department provides in service to the customer, providing technical assistance on products offered.
  • Coordinate with key vendors to provide support and visits with architects to promote and support products.
  • Offer technical assistance to Sales representatives and external customers as needed.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Sales representatives and other company departments by reacting promptly and accurately to requests for support and assistance.
  • Participate in AIA events, company events, and monthly meetings, and participate in all required training assignments.
Requirements

An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Work Environment
