Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Reliable Nurse Staffing. This is a travel position in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, offering a unique opportunity to work with a reputable healthcare organization.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to nuclear medicine, including imaging procedures, patient care, and equipment maintenance. As a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET and SPECT scans
  • Provide patient care and education, ensuring a positive experience for patients and families
  • Maintain and troubleshoot nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of nuclear medicine practices
Requirements:
  • Current SD license
  • Nursing License per state
  • Current BLS and/or ACLS and/or Specialty Certifications
  • 2 Current Clinical References (Supervisor x2 within 12 months)
  • Physicial (within 12 months)
  • TB Skin Test (within 12 months)
  • Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella
  • Respiratory Fit Test (within 12 months)
  • Current Tdap/Flu Vaccinations
  • Must be able to pass background/urine drug screening
  • COVID Card - Current (In most cases)
