Cardiac Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider

The Advanced Practice Provider in Cardiac Critical Care is responsible for overseeing critically ill cardiovascular patients who require intensive care services. This role involves close collaboration with Cardiovascular Intensivists and attending physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
In this position, you will manage the continuity of care for patients until their discharge, while also supporting various technical procedures. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create or adjust care plans that are effective, cost-efficient, and of the highest quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate and manage patients in the cardiac intensive care unit.
- Facilitate discharge planning to meet the comprehensive needs of patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field, along with significant professional experience (3-5 years preferred). Candidates must hold a valid Maryland Registered Nurse License, active NCCPA Certification (for Physician Assistants), and possess current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association. Additionally, candidates should have an active AANC or AANP Certification (for Nurse Practitioners).
