Senior Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at one of our partner hospitals in Temple, TX. As a Senior PICU Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
About the Role:
- Shifts available: day shift, night shift, and mid shift
- Job types available: full time and part time
- Candidates must be willing to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements:
- RN Diploma degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
