Key Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Support Specialist, you will:
Assist pharmacists in delivering medications to patients while performing routine tasks within the hospital pharmacy.
- Assisting in the preparation of medication cassettes under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Aiding in the preparation of IV medications under the guidance of a pharmacist.
- Printing and fulfilling label requests for first doses or urgent medications.
- Delivering medications and supplies to various departments as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Current State Board of Pharmacy Registration Certificate as a Pharmacy Technician, in accordance with state regulations.
Preferred Experience:
- One to two years of experience in a pharmacy technician role is preferred.
