This position is part of our Buildings Service Line and will support architectural engineering projects such as schools, commercial buildings, banks, churches, and other building types.

As Senior Project Engineer, this role will work collaboratively with other MSA employees, including architects, structural engineers, and MEP engineers.

This position will serve as a liaison with external architectural clients, leading business development efforts for structural projects with current and future clients.

The successful candidate will provide project management for structural engineering projects, prepare structural design calculations, and lead mentoring and field investigations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing project management for structural engineering projects
  • Preparing structural design calculations for structures
  • Leading mentoring and field investigations
  • Communicating with clients, agencies, stakeholders, and the public
  • Business development related to structural projects with current and future clients

Other Experience and Qualifications:

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) with an emphasis in structures preferred
  • 8+ years of prior structural engineering experience required
  • WI PE license required, SE preferred
  • AIA license preferred
  • Experience with Revit preferred
  • Experience with project types such as churches, banks, schools, and commercial buildings
  • Previous experience with project management and client relationships required, or desire to step into that role

This position requires authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
