Job Title: Advanced Quantum Physicist

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Quantum Physicist to join our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects related to quantum computing, communications, and sensing. You will collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide direct quantum support. You will also mentor and learn from teammates, and shape research directions both with clients and through internal investments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage small to medium-sized projects
* Provide expertise on quantum computing hardware, control electronics, and environmental control requirements
* Convey complex concepts to a diverse audience both written and verbally
* Work collaboratively in a manner that leverages diverse backgrounds and expertise
* Obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Materials Sciences and 9+ years of experience with quantum mechanics or quantum effects
* Master's degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Materials Sciences and 6+ years of experience with quantum mechanics or quantum effects
* Doctorate degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Materials Sciences and 4+ years of experience with quantum mechanics or quantum effects

Nice to Have:

* Experience with programming languages like C++ and Python
* Experience with software version control and containerization
* Experience with leading the development of technology business plans and roadmaps, building and managing teams of scientists and engineers to execute against business plans, and managing associated resources, such as hardware and funding

Clearance:
