About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician - Light/Medium Duty to join our team at Dickinson Fleet Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on light and medium-duty vehicles
  • Conduct licensed DOT inspections and diagnose mechanical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication
  • Use hand tools, precision instruments, and diesel tools to diagnose and repair vehicles
  • Work independently to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Minimum of one year of experience as an automotive technician on light/medium vehicle repair
  • Ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to exert oneself physically over long periods of time without tiring
