About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Amports. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles in preparation for pickup and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose Vehicle Problems: Use your technical expertise to identify and diagnose issues with vehicles.
  • Repair Vehicles: Effectively repair vehicles to ensure they are safe and ready for delivery.
  • Remove and Replace Parts: Use your mechanical skills to remove and replace parts as needed.
  • Operate Computer Systems: Use computer systems to test and order parts.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • ASE Certification: Certification as an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) technician is required.
  • Related Experience: Three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to Obtain TWIC Badge: Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) badge.
Work Environment

Our work environment is well-lighted, heated, and air-conditioned, with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions.

Physical Demands

This role requires heavy physical activity, including manual dexterity and the ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.
