Job Summary

US Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is seeking a skilled Chain Inspector to join our team. As a Chain Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our high-speed chain drive systems, which are used in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect chains to ensure they meet established specifications
  • Check length, width, radii, and surface condition of chains
  • Make chains as specified, bar code, and prepare them for shipment
  • Perform pin sorting and stringing tasks
  • Feed and provision plates to bowl feeders and load empty and filled strings to and from stringing machines
  • Stack plates onto handling carts and maintain traceability
  • Minimize contamination and ensure proper parts are secured from production area
  • Perform minor troubleshooting and malfunctions of stringer machines
  • Load and unload parts into magnetic and/or optical sorting machine
  • Fix and troubleshoot feeder bowl for minor errors due to stuck parts
  • Complete PM and other necessary paperwork associated with the sorting machine
  • Provide samples to QA as needed
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow standard safety regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • 0-3 Years of experience working in a manufacturing environment highly desired
  • Safety First mindset

  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Basic computer Skills
