Speech Language Pathologist PRN Opportunity

SSM Health Rehabilitation-Acute Care is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist PRN to join our team at St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, MO.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide per diem services in our acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in acute care or inpatient rehab and be proficient in performing Modified Barium Swallows (MBS) and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES) independently.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
  • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
  • Design functional treatment programs to enable effective return to community activities.
  • Perform other professional duties associated with patient care, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and program delivery.
Requirements
  • Current state license or eligibility for state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience.
  • Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in acute care or inpatient rehab.
