Key Responsibilities- Perform admission assessments on assigned patients and collect relevant data to inform nursing diagnoses and care plans.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Illinois.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to hire.
- Emergency Communications Registered Nurse (ECRN) certification or ability to obtain within 16 months of hire.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- One year of experience in an Emergency Department setting within the last five years.
- Active PALS and ECRN certifications.
