We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Work Specialist to join our team at Mass General Brigham in Middleborough, Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide ongoing assessment and formulation of patient needs to update their plan of care, including timely completion of treatment plans that meet clinical and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver clinical services to patients as appropriate, considering their age, and provide support to family members when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of clinical skills, including psychiatric assessment, case formulation, therapeutic alliance development, and treatment planning. They will also be able to work collaboratively within a rapidly changing system of care, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and navigate computerized clinical databases.
Requirements- A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is required, with a focus on clinical social work practice.
- Candidates must have experience in providing a range of clinical services, including assessment, treatment, and discharge planning, particularly in a managed care environment.
- They should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff, and be familiar with community resources, public service delivery systems, and consumer entitlement programs.
- As a condition of continued employment, candidates must obtain LCSW licensure within 12 months of hire or upon the one-year anniversary of employment, along with an annual review.
