Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Comprehensive Dental Procedures: Conduct a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and cleanings with precision and care.
  • Diagnose and Treat Oral Conditions: Identify and manage oral diseases and conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop Personalized Treatment Plans: Create tailored treatment plans that address each patient's unique oral health needs.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote long-term dental health.
  • Interpret Diagnostic Tests: Utilize x-rays and other diagnostic tools to accurately assess dental issues.
  • Administer Anesthetics: Provide anesthetics to minimize patient discomfort during procedures.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver comprehensive and cohesive dental care.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all medical documentation and records are thorough, accurate, and up-to-date.

Required Skills

  • Medical Documentation & Record Keeping: Proficient in maintaining precise and comprehensive medical records.
  • Infection Control: Knowledgeable in aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
  • HIPAA Compliance: Familiar with HIPAA regulations, ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Medical Terminology: Strong understanding of dental-related medical terminology.
  • Pediatric Dentistry: Experience in providing dental care to pediatric patients, using age-appropriate techniques.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Ability to monitor and interpret vital signs during dental procedures.
  • Dental Software Proficiency: Skilled in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
