About the Role

Hematology Oncology Associates of Central New York is seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapy Specialist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapy Specialist, you will play a critical role in the planning and delivery of radiation treatments for cancer patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform calculations, 2D and 3D planning, IMRT, and other necessary planning for radiation treatments under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist and general supervision of a Physicist.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation therapy and medical dosimetry to provide the highest level of care for patients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any field or active registration with the ARRT in Radiation Therapy and a New York State License.
  • Previous experience in a Radiation Therapy Department is recommended.
  • Certified Medical Dosimetrist with active registration with the ARRT in Radiation Therapy and New York State license preferred.
