Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates complex equipment to produce high-quality radiographs. This individual collaborates with the Radiologist, the manager, and the staff in developing, implementing, and evaluating department procedures and protocols. This position has direct patient care, access to confidential patient information, and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with the Radiologist, the manager, and the staff. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works under the indirect supervision of the Radiology Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Nuclear Medicine exams and protocols
Consistently apply infection control practices and policies
Independently manage patient flow and exams efficiently
Requirements:
ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine OR CNMT
Certification in Nuclear Medicine
American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification, required
Graduated from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
