Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EOF Counselor to join our team at Saint Peter's University. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic and personal support to EOF scholars, as well as overseeing the EOF Recruitment Program and Summer Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with admissions and financial aid to interview and select incoming EOF students
  • Oversee summer program planning and execution
  • Manage a caseload and monitor the academic progress of EOF scholars through the use of progress reports, alert systems, and other technologies
  • Provide advisement and registration for EOF Scholars
  • Develop and implement seminars, workshops, and off-campus events to foster student adjustment to the academic and social demands of the university experience
  • Represent EOF at college recruitment activities at targeted urban high schools and community colleges
Requirements
  • One to three years working in higher education
  • Familiarity with State financial regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds
  • Detail-oriented and organized
Preferred Qualifications
  • Higher education student counseling experience
Working Conditions

Some evening and weekend work will be required.
