Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Trinity Health Saint Joseph's Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses and regain their independence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in inpatient rehab and outpatient settings, including hand clinic and pediatric outpatient programs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for daily living and rehabilitation.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of employment.
  • ACLS certification required for ICU, PCU, NICU, and Labor and Delivery positions.
  • BLS certification required for all RN, LPN, PT, OT, Poly, and RT positions.
  • PALS certification required for applicable units.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in inpatient rehab and outpatient settings.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations and age groups.
