Job Description:

As a Lead System Engineer - Linux, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our Linux infrastructure. You will lead the design, implementation, and operation of our Linux environment, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.

  • Collaborate with business owners, developers, operations teams, technologists, and management to deliver high-quality solutions to real-world problems.">
  • Take a data-driven approach to analyzing and solving complex problems, leveraging your expertise to drive business outcomes.">
  • Continually seek to improve system performance and drive down latency, utilizing automation/DevOps to enhance service delivery and user satisfaction.">

Requirements:

">
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant fields required.">
  • Over 5 years of experience in contributing toward the architecture and design of new and existing Linux environments.">
  • Deep understanding of Linux system internals and strong problem-solving skills.">
  • Ansible Roles/Playbook experience required; Ansible Tower or Automation Platform experience also required.">
  • Bash and/or Python scripting required; Red Hat Satellite and IdM experience preferred; OpenShift/Kubernetes and VMware experience strongly preferred; MS Azure experience preferred.">
  • Participate in an on-call rotation with the team for off-hours support; other duties as assigned or needed.">
  • Local NYC/NJ candidates only; no relocation assistance available; eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.">
