About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team at Echo Lake Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems, including boilers, chillers, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of production equipment and remodeling projects to identify and address any issues or defects.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, including ammonia refrigeration systems, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve maintenance and repair goals.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and protocols, including PPE and lock out/tag out procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration maintenance and repair.
  • Basic math skills, including multiplication and division.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
  • Own basic hand tools and a box to lock them in.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
