Housekeeping Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to join our team at Lakeside Place Senior Living. As a Housekeeping team member, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow cleaning schedules and instructions as directed by the supervisor to ensure all areas are clean and sanitized.
  • Clean and polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, and heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and public areas.
  • Empty trash in offices and public areas, and report any unsafe/hazardous conditions to the supervisor.
  • Keep janitor closets and housekeeping supply rooms clean and orderly.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including residents, team members, and visitors.
Requirements:
  • One year related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job training preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
  • Must be able to remain calm under stressful situations and work responsibly as a team member.
  • Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
  • Must meet all health requirements and pass a criminal background check.
Working Conditions:

Scheduled hours, possible overtime. Works in other positions temporarily, when necessary. Subject to frequent interruptions and may be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals.

This is a medium work position, requiring the ability to exert 10-35 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
