Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Prevea Health. As a Pre/Post/PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for supervising and directing patient care in the pre-procedure and post-procedure areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
  • Ensure that appropriate techniques and practices are used according to accepted standards of practice
  • Assist physician(s) and other personnel to assure good outcomes
  • Provide patient/family education by utilizing clinical knowledge in an environment conducive to learning
  • Assist in local-monitoring of surgical cases
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on nursing assessment, medical and nursing diagnoses, knowledge of specific illness, injuries, diseases, procedures, and appropriate standards of care
Requirements
  • Previous experience working on an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery center is preferred
  • RN with current Wisconsin license
  • Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position working 24 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in emergency situations and when under stress.
