Job Summary

Shadyside Nursing & Rehab, a leading healthcare provider in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nutrition care to our residents and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for residents and patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and address nutrition-related concerns.
  • Provide education and counseling to residents, patients, and their families on nutrition and healthy eating habits.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions and make adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of nutrition assessments, interventions, and follow-up.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or licensed dietitian, as required by the state of employment.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting or as a consulting dietitian preferred.
  • Experience working with geriatric populations is a plus.
