About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Home Care Service Coordinator to join our team at Addus HomeCare. As a Home Care Service Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of in-home care services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include scheduling and supervising caregivers, processing patient authorizations, and communicating with central admissions.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and supervise caregivers to ensure high-quality care delivery
  • Process patient authorizations and communicate with central admissions
  • Create work schedules and manage changes to client schedules
  • Supervise direct service employees and hold them accountable for attendance, performance, and conduct
  • Assist with the new hire process and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of healthcare experience, preferably in an office setting
  • 6 months supervisor experience required
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling programs
  • Reliable transportation
