Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at MedTeam Staffing. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory by collecting and processing blood samples for testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients using various techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
  • Label and process specimens according to established protocols, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to the laboratory.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to OSHA and DEP regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff to ensure seamless specimen collection and processing.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory procedures and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
  • Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
