Job Opportunity

SOCOTEC, a leading provider of niche consulting services, is seeking a skilled professional to join our Construction Materials, Forensic and Specialty Testing Division. As a Concrete Core Driller, you will be responsible for conducting various testing and inspection activities in the NYC and Tri-state area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform GPR/Pachometer Surveys to assess concrete conditions
  • Conduct Anchor Pull Testing to evaluate anchor systems
  • Carry out Slab Load Testing to determine slab capacity
  • Investigate existing conditions through thorough site inspections
  • Core drill concrete to collect samples for testing
  • Evaluate Floor Flatness to ensure compliance with industry standards
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • OSHA 10 certification and Supported and Suspended Scaffold certifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
