Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapies within the framework of our clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy model.
  • Communicate effectively with families, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Enter and save data accurately within our electronic medical record system and other relevant software.
  • Attend weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Represent Newport Healthcare at meetings, trainings, and conferences as needed.
  • Manage your schedule independently to effectively accomplish goals and tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited or state-approved graduate school.
  • Licensed or ability to transfer license in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or Clinical Psychologist in the state where services are provided.
  • Experience with individual, group, or family therapy with adolescents/young adults.
  • Experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders, or trauma-informed treatment is preferred.
  • Willingness to be trained to provide family therapy within the framework of Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
