Position Overview:

Job Title: Lead Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Lead Java Developer at Ascendion, you will be tasked with the design, development, and maintenance of APIs that support our diverse applications and services.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to implement effective solutions that fulfill business requirements and ensure smooth integration with existing systems.
  • Your role will involve utilizing various technologies and tools, including HTTP, MQ, Kafka, and SFTP, alongside modern development practices and tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT.
  • Proficient in designing and developing APIs using Java and Spring, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Experience in integrating APIs with messaging systems (MQ, Kafka) and file systems (SFTP, NAS).
  • Ability to develop and maintain front-end applications using React and Angular.
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft for API management and integration.
  • Experience deploying applications on PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and Azure platforms.
  • Competence in writing and maintaining basic shell scripts for automation and system management.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills.

Compensation:

The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $140,000 annually, influenced by factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
