Maintenance Planner

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join our team at Safeway Manufacturing Plants. In this vital role, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating detailed maintenance plans to ensure our equipment operates at optimal performance.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Plan and execute mechanical and electrical maintenance and upkeep of equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure seamless operations and efficient production processes.
• Manage maintenance records, track work orders, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Supervise and control maintenance parts pricing with vendors, inventory & expense budgets.
• Partner with Maintenance and Operations Departments on the development of maintenance schedules ensuring availability of necessary parts, etc.
• Execute continuous improvements events to drive out loss and increase line efficiencies.

• 5 to 10 years of related experience in a high output manufacturing or packaging facility.
• Strong inter-personal and leadership skills.
• Computerized Maintenance Management System expertise.
• Project management and capital project management experience preferred.
• Ability to work off shift and weekends.
