Electrician Technician

Marathon Electric is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in a heavy industrial manufacturing site. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for performing general electrical installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.

• Troubleshoot and repair automated manufacturing machinery, including power distribution systems and various levels of automation.
• Perform electrical installation, repair, and maintenance tasks in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Work with mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Develop and implement machine safety systems.
• Read and understand schematic drawings, ladder logic, and machine manuals.
• Write and modify PLC programs using Rockwell products and other manufacturers.
• Work with variable frequency drives and motor control systems.
• Run conduit and general wiring installations.
• Perform general electrical maintenance using basic and advanced tools.

• Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician certification preferred but not required.
• Post-high school education in a related field.
• Working knowledge of NFPA-70e and NEC rules and regulations.
• Working knowledge of LOTO and safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills.
