About the Role

Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Midwife to join our Women's Care team at University City Hospital in North Charlotte, NC. As a hospitalist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a dedicated team of experts in women's health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care as a member of our 3.6 CNM hospitalist team
  • Partner with North Charlotte OB/GYN and Eastover University OB/GYN to deliver at AH University City Hospital
  • Contribute to a Level III NICU and participate in a CNM rotation of 7 24-hour shifts per month
  • Enjoy a great benefits and compensation package

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse required
  • Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and approved to practice as a Nurse Midwife in the state of NC
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider from AHA required
  • Must first assist to cesarean sections or be willing to learn
  • Prefer 3 years CNM experience; will consider those with 1 year of CNM experience and strong L&D background
