Culinary Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Cherrelyn Healthcare Center, a 178-bed Skilled Nursing Facility serving the Denver-metro area since 1965.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain a well-organized and efficient food service department.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of basic food production skill sets and perform tasks error-free.
  • Prepare and serve attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year experience in a similar position.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of special diets, meal preparation for large groups preferred.
  • Safe food handling techniques required.
  • Ability to read and understand recipes.
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Work flexible shifts.
  • Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.
