Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Seasonal Lifeguard. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for enforcing all department rules and regulations of the pool, maintaining surveillance of patrons, and enforcing safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Enforce all department rules and regulations of the pool.
• Maintain surveillance of patrons and enforce safety standards and procedures.
• Assist or teach lessons or other programs as assigned.
• Clean the bathrooms and/or locker rooms.
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks as scheduled/required.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

• WSI a plus.
• Capable of working a flexible schedule of up to but not exceeding 40 hours per week including holidays and weekends (weather dependent).
• Ability to assist with lessons and after hour pool rentals.
• Possess good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Current FBI Fingerprint, PA Child Abuse, and PA Criminal Background Check clearances as required by law.

Functional Requirements:

• Computer/VDT ability
• General learning ability

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The employee must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
