Overview:
The primary responsibility of a Medical Imaging Specialist is to utilize diagnostic imaging technology to capture images of various bodily structures, including tissues, organs, bones, and blood vessels. With advanced training, this role may also involve assisting in the delivery of radiation therapy treatments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures following established protocols and guidelines with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to arrange interventional procedures as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients to gather essential clinical information, provide instructions, alleviate anxiety, and ensure cooperation during imaging processes.
- Execute all aspects of radiologic procedures, including Emergency Room trauma, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and surgical applications of ionizing radiation.
- Consistently produce high-quality images in accordance with prescribed protocols and procedures.
- Adhere to company compliance, policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Perform a diverse range of procedures, which may encompass general radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, and portable imaging in emergency and surgical settings.
- Assist radiologists during examinations and procedures, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal service to patients and physicians.

Qualifications:
- Completion of a Certificate Program or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a CT Technologist in a healthcare facility; AHA BLS certification is required.
