Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our team at Inova. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiologic principles and be able to communicate effectively with patients and physicians.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of radiologic principles and operate radiological equipment with confidence.
  • Communicate with patients and families, explaining procedures and obtaining informed consent.
  • Assist physicians in performing examinations, using sterile techniques and standard department protocols.
  • Identify and address clinical and emergent problems that may interfere with exams.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology school or program.
  • ARRT (R) certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
  • One year of combined classroom and clinical training in radiology.
