We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team of professionals committed to improving the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform initial nursing assessments on new admissions
- Develop, prepare, and maintain individualized patient care progress records with accuracy and timeliness
- Regularly communicate patient progress to the clinical manager, physician, and care team
- Make referrals to other hospice care disciplines as needed, or document rationale for not doing so
- A full benefits package with choice of affordable PPO or HSA medical plans
- Up to $1,300 in free healthcare services paid by Amedisys yearly, when enrolled in an Amedisys HSA medical plan
- Mileage and cell phone reimbursement
- A fleet vehicle program and mileage reimbursement for full-time caregivers meeting certain requirements
