We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to contribute to our team's success.
Job SummaryUnder the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist will scrub for surgical procedures and demonstrate expertise as a member of the surgical team. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. The ideal candidate will support the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center and participate in quality improvement activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Completion of Surgical Tech program; CST preferred.
- Current IN Nursing License.
- Current BLS.
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience preferred.
- Orthopedic/Total Joint experience preferred.
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and implementation.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
