Embedded System Researcher Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Embedded System Researcher to join our team at Reflexive Concepts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing embedded systems, with a focus on ARM, PPC, and MIPS assembly languages.

The successful candidate will lead complex problems to completion, coordinate with customers, and drive research tasks independently. They will also have experience with Python and C development, debugging tools (GDB), and reading/writing assembly code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and develop in an embedded systems environment (VxWorks, ELDK, or similar)
  • Develop software using Python and C
  • Use debugging tools (GDB) to troubleshoot issues
  • Read and write assembly code for ARM, PPC, and MIPS architectures
  • Drive research tasks independently and lead others in tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 12 years of experience in embedded systems
  • Expert-level knowledge of ARM, PPC, and MIPS assembly languages
  • Experience with Python and C development
  • Proficiency in debugging tools (GDB)
  • Ability to read and write assembly code
