Role Responsibilities

The individual in this role will be accountable for managing the scheduling, staffing, and operational functions of the MRI department. This includes performing MRI examinations and providing mentorship to MRI technical staff to guarantee superior quality in their work. Additionally, the position involves assisting in the onboarding and training of newly recruited MRI personnel.

Utilizing a range of equipment such as MRI scanners, power injectors, and various software applications, the technologist will enter patient-related data into hospital databases. This role is pivotal in contributing to the overall excellence of the department through a commitment to personal and professional growth in both technical and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of three years of experience in MRI. An advanced registry in MRI is also required. The role necessitates strong analytical skills to address issues that involve basic mathematical or technical principles, as well as extensive experience-based knowledge. Furthermore, the ability to clearly communicate clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families is essential.
