Job Summary:

Fastenal is seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our transportation team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products from our distribution centers to branches and customer on-site locations. This is a full-time position that requires a safe and efficient driver with a strong working knowledge of DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize a handheld scanner to track deliveries
Unload product from trucks by hand, pallet jack, or by forklift
Provide excellent service to our branches and customers by delivering product in a prompt, efficient manner
Interact with our shipping and receiving departments
Maintain a clean work environment within our equipment
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work area
Inspect and report defects or issues in equipment
Comply with DOT and Fastenal safety regulations

Requirements:

Possess or are currently in progress of obtaining a Commercial Driver's License
Possess a current Health Card OR have the ability to obtain one
Possess a current Haz Mat endorsement OR have the ability to obtain one (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
Meet Fastenal driving record requirements
Demonstrate strong working knowledge of the DOT regulations in regards to a CDL Driver
Maintain DOT regulated Drivers Hours-of-Service
Willingness to drive interstate routes across state lines
Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
Lift up to 60 lbs. and maneuver up to 150lbs.
Successfully complete the required DOT drug and alcohol screens, road test, employment verification and background check
