Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Forming/Pres Brake Operator to join our team at Merrill Technologies Group. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various metal forming and shaping equipment, including saws, burners, and press brakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain metal forming and shaping equipment, including saws, burners, and press brakes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Stage, organize, and process materials and documentation in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy in all work produced.
  • Meet production deadlines and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a related position in machining or fabricating industry.
  • Ability to use measuring devices and read prints.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machines of various types.
  • Well-organized, industrious, hardworking, and a team player.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating saws, burning machines, shears, press brakes, and other forming/shaping machines.
  • Knowledge of GD&T.
  • Familiarity with all types of metals/materials.
