Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Sacramento Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation hospital.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of a physical therapist, you will be responsible for implementing treatment plans, performing physical therapy procedures, and recording patient responses. You will also be expected to integrate the hospital's mission and guiding principles into your daily practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement treatment plans with patients under the direction of a physical therapist
  • Perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks selected by a supervising physical therapist
  • Record patient responses to treatment and report to the physical therapist
  • Integrate the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required
  • One year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred
