Job DescriptionWe are a one-doctor small animal hospital seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Technician to join our successful clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and handling, with excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities of this role include holding and restraining patients, entering electronic medical records, preparing medications, and assisting the doctor with surgery. You will also be responsible for monitoring patients under anesthesia, drawing blood, and running lab work. Additionally, you will be expected to provide exceptional patient care, maintain a clean and safe environment, and work effectively as part of a team.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician. A knowledge of Avimark veterinary software is a plus, as is bilingual proficiency.
