Job Description

The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patient condition during admission and each shift as scheduled, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status
  • Performing procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers
  • Documenting the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
  • Providing exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests
  • Teaching patients, families, and caregivers about patient medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and possible side effects, as well as follow-up measures

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • A Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
  • No previous experience is necessary
