Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide diagnostic evaluations and brief focused treatment using evidenced-based treatment interventions and various treatment modalities.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and provide therapeutic intervention for patients requesting mental health services using short-term solution-oriented individual, marital, family, and/or group psychotherapy, and/or biofeedback.
  • Communicate effectively with outside agencies regarding treatment plans for referring agencies and/or outside providers.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as needed, determining appropriateness of hospitalization and assessing patients' potential for lethality.
  • Ensure patient safety in the preparation and provisioning of care related to medications, procedures, infection prevention, and fall prevention.
Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years post-masters practice experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Masters degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or an equivalent Masters degree.
  • Professional Counselor License (Colorado), Licensed Social Worker (Colorado), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Colorado).
