Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Position Available

Regina Care Center in Hastings, Minnesota is currently looking for an On Call Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with various physical and cognitive disabilities
  • Document progress toward identified objectives and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
  • Conduct or assist in patient screenings and report findings back to the physical therapist
  • Develop and implement new programs and techniques to enhance services and improve patient outcomes
  • Adhere to core values of Benedictine Health systems, applicable principles and practices of therapy, and state regulations
  • Comply with regulatory standards of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Department of Health, and any other professional guidelines or standards
