Bon Secours Mercy Health is a prominent provider of extensive cardiovascular services, dedicated to excellence and progressive practices. Our team comprises a diverse group of 20 specialists who cover various aspects of cardiology, including non-invasive, interventional, structural heart, and electrophysiology (EP) cardiology. We are supported by an Advanced Heart Failure program and cardiovascular surgical services, ensuring comprehensive care for our patients. We are currently looking for a skilled Electrophysiology Cardiologist to become part of our vibrant and expanding team.

Position Overview:

As an Electrophysiology Cardiologist at Bon Secours Mercy Health, you will play a crucial role within a multidisciplinary team that delivers advanced cardiovascular care. You will have the chance to perform a comprehensive range of EP procedures and utilize cutting-edge technology in a collaborative and supportive setting. This position includes a well-structured schedule of 4 procedure days and 1 full clinic day each week, with a call rotation of 1:7 (weekdays). Current providers manage a patient load of 32-40 individuals in a full clinic day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a wide array of electrophysiological procedures, including AV node ablations, permanent pacemaker (PPM) placements, insertable cardiac monitors (ILR), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), venograms, and Watchman device implants.
  • EP procedures are coordinated between EP labs at two affiliated medical centers.
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of cardiologists, including specialists in non-invasive, interventional, and structural heart, along with an Advanced Heart Failure program and cardiovascular surgery team.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care through precise diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree with board certification in Cardiology.
  • Fellowship training and board certification in Electrophysiology.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing a broad spectrum of electrophysiological procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both with patients and within the healthcare team.
