We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Afternoon Childcare Assistant Teacher at Little Endeavors Child Development Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing engaging curriculum for young children.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for children, including daily cleanup and maintenance tasks.
  • Treat children with kindness, respect, and dignity at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and management in a professional manner.
  • Establish a positive role model for children and families.
  • Participate in nightly chores and assigned laundry duties.
  • Dress in a professional and service-oriented manner.
  • Adhere to all Little Endeavors policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of children and family information.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Communicate effectively with morning staff and the director.
  • Approach criticism with a growth mindset and a positive attitude.
  • Be friendly, respectful, and approachable in all interactions.
  • Look for opportunities to assist colleagues and contribute to the center's success.

Administration and Accountability:

  • Be reliable and punctual, with adequate notice for absences.
  • Perform duties with care and attention to detail.
  • Be nurturing and supportive to all children and families.
  • Be courteous and helpful in all interactions.
  • Take responsibility for job duties and be flexible with assignments.
  • Remain calm in challenging situations and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Follow policies and procedures at all times.

**Please note that all DHS requirements, including trainings, background checks, and physicals, must be completed in a timely manner after being hired or annually.**
