Seasonal Laborer

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness seeking a Seasonal Laborer to join our team in a location to assist in running daily operations during corn harvest. As a major buyer and trader of grains and oilseeds, CHS moves more than two billion bushels annually through its network of river, rail, and export terminals.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently, including developing and maintaining knowledge of commodities handled at the location and complying with company policy and government regulations.
- Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner, preparing trucks and railcars for loading/unloading, and loading and unloading agricultural inputs from railcars and/or trucks.
- Control and monitor all load out functions, understand and operate automated scale/dump systems, and conduct and properly record daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks.
- Deliver products such as fertilizer, chemical, seed, feed, and others to customer sites, and keep all work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
- Promptly report any customer complaints, repair or maintenance needs, or safety concerns to supervisor, and maintain and promote a strong safety culture.
- Knowledge of operations and/or business operations, and must meet minimum age requirement.
- Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile, and ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands.
- High School diploma or GED preferred, and CDL license or ability to attain one with Hazmat endorsement preferred.
- Agriculture experience preferred, and forklift certification preferred.
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package, including base wage and other earnings such as bonus, incentives, and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors, including experience, education, training, specialized skills, and certifications.
